Common Courses
Some common courses taught in our university's Technology Faculty, Veterinary Faculty, Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Theology, Civil Aviation School, Sivrice Vocational School, Technical Sciences Vocational School, and Elazığ Organized Industrial Zone Mining Vocational School are delivered via distance education across all departments. These courses are conducted jointly by the relevant unit coordinators and the Distance Education Center (UZEM).

The compulsory common courses, including Atatürk’s Principles and History of Reforms, Turkish Language, and Foreign Language, are delivered via distance education in all departments of the Technology Faculty, Veterinary Faculty, Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Theology, Civil Aviation School, Sivrice Vocational School, Technical Sciences Vocational School, and Elazığ Organized Industrial Zone Mining Vocational School.
Students can access course content, including weekly lecture videos prepared for the fall and spring semesters, through the website ue.firat.edu.tr.

Students can follow the courses offered via distance education without attending classes in person. They can also rewatch the lectures at any time.
Following the course content and watching the lecture videos is crucial for achieving success in midterm and final exams.
Exam questions will be based on the content presented in the courses and discussed in the lecture videos.
